You run one team, you pick it, and you live with the pick all season. TryoutSheet puts the whole tryout on your phone: registration and check-in, station scoring with radar and stopwatch numbers, clips of every rep, weighted rankings, offers and cuts by email, then the roster. Free for one tryout of up to 25 players.
Before the tryout
Share the registration link, or print the QR poster for the field; families register and every player gets a number. You can also add players one at a time or paste a list from a spreadsheet. Families get a consent link before any profile, clip or school detail is kept.
At the field
Your assistants score on their own phones as evaluators, by player number, each locked to a station if you like. Ratings are 1–5; radar and stopwatch stations keep the best rep. Clips are filmed against the player, station and rep. It all works with no signal and syncs later.
Picking the team
Weighted rankings out of 100 use your station weights. Compare puts two to four players side by side, and blind evaluation hides names until you reveal them. The draft board takes offer, waitlist or cut; the emails go out and families answer in one tap.
All season
The players you pick become the season roster with contacts, jersey numbers and attendance. Each player keeps a profile with positions, measurables over time and clips; with consent, older players can add school details for a recruiting page the family turns on.

Where TryoutSheet falls short
- No schedules, team messaging, live scoring or game stats: pair it with your season app.
- No integrations or API yet.
- Baseball and softball only.

When to pick something else
SkillShark, if:
- Your club runs the season in TeamSnap, SportsEngine or TeamLinkt and wants tryout results to sync there.
- You also coach or evaluate another sport.
GameChanger, if:
- What you need is live scoring, streams and game video for the season rather than tryouts.

Do parents pay anything?
No. Parents never pay, and TryoutSheet shows no ads.
What happens to clips of players we cut?
They’re deleted after the club’s window, 30 days unless you change it, unless the family chooses to keep them.
